Contextual placement options help advertisers control where ads appear. Advertisers can include preferences for music genre, playlist tone, activities & settings, or podcast episode topics (if running in all content types). Sensitive topic filters are also available.

Targeting Restrictions for Users under 18 years old (in United States, United Kingdom, & European Union):

 

The following targeting restrictions are in place for any ad sets delivering to the United States, United Kingdom, or European Union that target users under 18 years old. Advertisers are unable to use the below targeting options:

  • Gender

  • Interest

  • Fan Base

  • Custom Audiences

 

When targeting users under 18 years old, advertisers can only use the below targeting options:

  • Contextual targeting

  • Music genres

  • Content Controls

  • Location, language, device

  • Day-part
