How it works
Custom audiences built from website events help reach users who have visited or taken a specific action on your website.
Before you begin
When using website events, it’s important to have set up the Spotify Pixel, or connect to the Conversions API to define the events you want to track. Learn more about how to create a Spotify Pixel and how to connect to the Conversions API.
Create a custom audience
To create an audience from a website event:
-
Log into Ads Manager. Navigate to the Audiences page.
-
Click Create and select Custom audience. Then select Website events.
-
Select your Source.
-
Choose the events you’d like to pull into your audience. You can select up to 12 events to include, and up to one event to exclude.
-
Enter your audience name and description. Click Create. Once your audience has been created, it will appear in your audience dashboard.
Note: There is a default lookback window of 30 days for website event audiences.
The reflected estimated audience size is a range of matched users to help advertisers plan their campaigns. This range can be updated daily. The reflected range does not reflect the estimated reach, which will include additional campaign parameters and criteria in the campaign creation flow. If you notice your custom audience isn’t ready to use in a campaign, but in a learning state, please note you can use this in a campaign, but the audience size may continue to grow over time until the 30 day lookback is complete.
