Your ads on Spotify Ads Manager are organized on 3 levels — campaigns, ad sets, and ads. Campaigns can contain up to 30 ad sets, and ad sets can contain up to 20 ads.
Below is a summary of the different inputs, settings, and choices that are available at each level.
Campaign
On the Create campaign page, you can select your overall business objective. There are 4 to choose from:
-
Brand awareness - Help people discover your brand or product.
-
Website traffic - Drive visitors to your website to explore your offerings.
-
Engagement on Spotify - Grow the audience for your content on Spotify.
-
App installs - Encourage people to install and engage with your app.
-
Lead Generation - Generate high-quality website leads from logged-in Spotify users
Ad set
At the ad set level, you'll decide your ad category, targeting, format and placement settings, delivery (including your delivery goal), budget and schedule, and bidding strategy. If you're promoting an artist on Spotify, learn more on our Artist & Podcast Promotion page.
Our optimization models (dictated by the delivery goal you choose) apply at the ad set level. There are multiple options for delivery goals under each campaign objective. This gives you the flexibility to create campaigns made up of ad sets optimized for different delivery goals, with reporting and results still laddering up to a single campaign.
You can learn more about delivery goals on our optimizing your ad set delivery page.
We are currently testing adding multiple formats to one ad set, to help improve budget delivery and performance outcomes. In this product experience, formats are selected on the ad page. It is not yet available to all advertisers.
Ad
At the ad level, you can set the creative, tag lines and any third-party tracking URLs from approved measurement vendors. See list of approved third-party tags.
